Tour Itenary :

Day 01 PANGKALAN BUN-KUMAI PORT-TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK (L,D)

Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport, you will be picked up by our staff/your guide and drive to Kumai River Port for 20 minutes by a car and boarding on the boat. The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat about 12m by 2.5m with roof upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the wildlife such as long noses monkey, long tail macaque, birds along the riverside. After boating for about 2,5hours, we will be in Tanjung Puting National Park. Stay over night and having Dinner on Boat or at the Lodge. Simple mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen and toilet are available on boat

Day 02 NATIONAL PARK - CAMP LEAKEY – PONDOK TANGGUY (B,L,D)

After breakfast, We will cruise up the river for about 2½ hours and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rain forest and also known as research center for Orangutan. Trekking through tropical rainforest searching for wildlife, wild orangutan, birds and other rainforest animals as well as tropical jungle plant. Back to the boat for lunch then witness feeding time at 14.00 pm in other feeding station of Pondok Tangguy. Stay over night and having dinner at Lodge or on Boat

Day 03 LODGE/BOAT - PONDOK TANGGUY – PESALAT - TENT (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we will cruise up the river to the Pondok Tangguy feeding station and continue to do full day trekking from Pondok tangguy to the Pesalat reforest station. We will pass swamp rain forest and camping ground with natural jungle trekking view. It takes about 6-7hours trekking and across for about 13KM of Borneo rain forest. We will be accompanied by expert guide, ranger and porter, on the way will search and observe wildlife, ( the forest you will pass mostly is second grow forest but quite interesting). Lunch will be served in middle of the forest and tent will be set up for overnight and having dinner.

Day 04 NATIONAL PARK – KUMAI PORT – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT (B)

After breakfast, enjoy the forest surrounding then continue to do short trek to boarding on the boat where it has been waiting for. After boarding on the boat, we will cruise down the river leaving for Kumai Port directly then proceed to Pangkalan Bun Airport to catch flight for your next destination.

Note:
For cheapest price and to get much more opportunity to see wildlife in this area you can stay over night on boat. The boat is river wooden boat and called by Klotok. It’s 12m by 2,5m and there is toilet, cabin with clean mattress, on upper deck you can enjoy natural rainforest view and in the morning you will fell the sweetest greeting from any kind of birds and other wild animals such as macaques, proboscis monkeys, orangutans while you enjoy breakfast with coffee or tea.
